James Parrott was born to the late Joseph and Pearline Wells Parrott, Sr. on March 4, 1944 in Lee County, SC. He was called to eternal rest by our Heavenly Father on this day February 19,2020. Affectionately known as “JD,” James’ was employed with Georgia Pacific, Fort Roofing, Lowder Gin Co., Coker Mobile Homes, and the late Dr. Campbell of Bishopville. James continued to work for Dr. Campbell’s wife, Ms. Jean C Campbell, until his health failed. Man of many talents! He was preceded in death by two sons, Earl Taylor and Darrell L Parrott, one daughter, Linda McBride Geter, one sister, Pearline Wheeler and two brothers, Robert and Eddie Parrott, and a son-in-law, Timothy Milliner. Saved by Grace and Not by Works. By Grace we are saved and not by our deeds. What an incredible thought! We place our trust in Christ you see. Our Salvation cannot be bought. If we could earn it, we would boast. We would live and die arrogantly. So, God grants to us by Faith in Christ Salvation completely free.
