Obituary of Rena Louise McKnight

Miss Rena Louise McKnight, affectionately known as “Boot”, was called into God’s Kingdom on February 12, 2020. She was born on October 27, 1983 in Sumter, SC to Teressa Price McKnight and Willie McKnight Jr. As a child she attended St. Matthews Baptist Church and Church of Christ in Sumter, SC She was employed by Piggly Wiggly in Sumter, SC for 19 years. Rena had a beautiful personality and smiled all the time, she was funny, outgoing, very generous, and had a love for people. Her son Rasheed was her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending quality time with her son, family, and friends. She also enjoyed spending time alone to reflect on life. Rena was preceded in death by grandmothers Ethel Mae Bacote Price and Anna Ruth McKnight; Grandfathers Eddie Price and Willie Herbert McKnight Sr.; Aunts Mary Lee Price and Mamie Lee Price; uncles Eddie Price Jr., Maxie Lee Price and Robert Lee Price, Cousins Warren Price and Sherman McKnight. She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Mr. Willie and Teressa McKnight; one son, Rasheed Willie P. Frierson, nine aunts: Ella Louise McKnight, Marian McKnight, Essie Mae Davis, Nina Carolyn Price, Annie Arthur, Barbara Ann Price, Ethel Lee Price, Louise Price, Ruth Price, six uncles, Woodrow McKnight, Charles Price, James Price, Willie Price, Murrel Price, and Randy Price, a special cousin who was raised up with her Angiale Arthur, a host of other cousins, relatives and friends, who are deeply sadden by her passing.
