Christopher Thompson

Obituary of Christopher Antonio Thompson

On December 5, 1999, the Lord blessed Shakeya Green and Christopher Thompson with their first-born son, Christopher Thompson.

Christopher received his education in the public schools of Sumter County.  He had a passion for taking care of his dogs, playing video games and he loved sneakers.

He loved his family and friends. He was loved by many near and from afar. He had a smile that would light up the room with his presence that would make you feel at peace.

Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Mary (Sammie) Lewis, paternal great-grandfather, Isaac (Lillie Mae) Mickens.

Christopher “Antonio” “Duna” Thompson lost his precious life, due to gun violence, on September 18, 2019 at Tuomey Medical Center in Sumter, SC.

Christopher leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Shakeya (Tony Hudson) Green; step-mother, Chrishaund Wells-Thompson; father, Christopher Thompson (Brittany Nelson); maternal grandmother, Debra Green Grant and Barbara Davis; paternal grandfather, Robert (Annette) Thompson and Sadie Burroughs; six brothers, Cedric Thompson, Shiheem Wells, Ny’Quan Thompson, Quincell Thompson, Ty’Shaun Thompson and Zaiden Nelson; two sisters, Alaayah Thompson and Malaisha Thompson; a special friend, Raynell White; five uncles, Dywayne Thompson, Rodney Green, Antonio Thompson, Alex Wells, and Eric Wells; seven aunts, Brittany G. (Brandon) Garrett, Antwanetta Thompson, Jennifer Thompson, Gabrielle Thompson, Khadijah Burroughs, Tonya Banks and Laquisha Green; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
