Obituary of Juliette Choice

Juliette Choice, an only child and center of attention, was born September 21, 1953 to the late James (Jimmy) Choice and the late Bertha Wright Choice.

 Juliette was educated in the public-school system of Sumter County and was a graduate of Hillcrest High School “Class of 1971”. Upon graduation, she relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she lived for many years. She was employed at Einstein Medical Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Juliette returned home in 1995 to care for her mother until her passing. She was employed at High Hills Daycare where she was formally known as Miss. Juliette to the children.

Juliette was a member of High Hills A.M.E. Church where she served on The Edward Robinson Floral club, Stewardess Board #3, The Emma Louise Robinson Women’s Missionary Society and Church School Class #3.

Juliette, affectionately known as the Cat lady, loved her cats. She also loved to travel, dance, eat and look her best. She made sure that her hair and nails were maintained every two weeks.

Juliette was preceded in death by her parents James and Bertha Choice, daughter Karen L. Choice, two uncles; Benjamin and Alfonso Wright and two aunts.

Juliette departed this earthly life on Friday, October 26, 2018.

Juliette leaves to cherish her memories; a uncle Ollie (Elizabeth) Choice of Philadelphia, PA; an aunt Maggie McMillan, also of Philadelphia, PA; Harold Choice of Newark, OH; Floretta Choice of Richmond, VA; companion, Raynard Taylor of Sumter, SC; god-daughter, April Roach of Sumter, SC; god-brother, Kevin Roach of Sumter, SC; best friend’s, Mary Susan Benjamin; Wilhelmenia Miller and Beulah Kelley; 10 cats and a host of other relatives and friends.
