Obituary of James Edward Green

James "Bay" Edward Green was born December 9, 1953 in Lee County, South Carolina to Henry, Sr. and the late Azalee Isaac Green. He was educated in the public schools of Lee County.

James accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour and was a member of the Greater Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a member of the Ushers Ministry and was the founder of the Greater Mt. Pisgah Male Choir.

James was employed with Sanders Concrete Company as a concrete finisher. He loved gardening and barbequing. One of his lifelong interests was playing baseball. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Eva Grant Green on April 11, 1989.

James was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Green, Jr.

James departed this life on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Kershaw Health Medical Center, Camden, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Eva G. Green; two children, Donovan J. Green and Latrelle S. Grant of Rembert; three grandchildren, Ja`Tavion Davis, Doneisha Eveonia Green, Joshua Lanelle Lindsey; father, Henry Green, Sr.; six sisters, Carrie G. Muldrow of McBee, SC, Brenda Green, Sumter, SC, Mary Ann Green and Ethel (Ernest) James both of McBee, SC, Mary Alice Clark of Columbia, SC and Geneva (Omoro) King of Camden, SC; two brothers, Lucious Green of Walterboro, SC and Tommy (Lynn) Williams of West Palm Beach, FL; loving in-laws, Marion (Josephine) Sanders, Jr. of Rembert, SC; four sisters-in-law, Cathy Green, Aurthur Delores (Albert) Robinson, Minister Lori (Joseph) Parker, Evangelist Wanda (Chris) Martin, Sr.; six brothers-in-law, Larry Grant, Timothy (Tamika) Grant, Melvin (Mena) Sanders, Marion T. (Thyma) Sanders, III, Carl (Doreen) James and Sherman (Ada) James; uncle, Roosevelt (Hattie) Isaac; aunt, Mary Lizzie (William) Magazine; special god sons, Adrian Oaks and Javon Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
