Obituary of Vinson Vaughn

Mr. Vincent Vaughn, was born February 6, 1955 in Sumter, SC to the late Alberta and Mamie Ford Vaughn and the husband of Diane Harriott Vaughn.

Vincent was educated in Sumter, SC and was a graduate of Lincoln High School.

In his early youth he was a member of Rock Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Vincent was a loving hardworking, humble man who always made you laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends

Vincent was employed at Evans Construction as a brick mason for many years. He worked for Giant Resources since 1994 until his illness.

In addition to his parents, Vincent was preceded in death by a sister Mary Bailey, two brothers Buster Vaughn and Larry Vaughn, two sisters-in-laws Sheila Harriott and Joyce (Danny) Witherspoon and brother-in-law Vincent Harriott.

Vincent departed this life on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Palmetto Health Tuomey, Sumter, SC.

Vincent leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife, Diane Vaughn of the home; two daughters, Felisha (Joslyn) McCray and Latisha (Rishard) McCray of Sumter, SC; two sons, Eddie Harriott and Cortez Vaughn of Sumter, SC; two sisters, Gladys (Warren) Barnabas of Brooklyn, NY and Bertie (Larry) Budden of Sumter, SC; one adopted sister, Peggy (Bryant) Laws; five grandchildren, Tykwon Coleman, Malazia (Jamari) Tyler, Jashoun McCray, Jayla McCray and Nasir McCray and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
