Reverend Allen McConico was born August 7, 1953 in Summerton, SC to the late Boston and Mary Lou Bosier McConico.
He was educated in the public schools of Clarendon County District 1. Reverend McConico accepted Christ as his personal Saviour and served in Ministry at Olden Chapel as an Assistant Pastor. He was a member of Grace Cathedral Ministries and was currently attending Agape Outreach Ministries. He sung with the Southern Tones Gospel Group.
Reverend McConico was employed by Go Plumbing, Sumter Machinery and the Mayesville Police Department.
Reverend McConico was a loving family man and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed going out to eat with family and loved to laugh. He enjoyed gospel music , however he was also a fan of country music and enjoyed Darius Rucker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann (Laura) McConico; two sisters, Deloris McConico and Sally (Cake) McConico; brother, Anthony McConico.
He departed this life on Friday, December 15, 2017 in Manning, SC
Reverend McConico leaves to cherish is memory, three daughters, Stacey McConico of Dalzell, SC, Grace McConico of Charlotte, NC and Brittany McConico of Columbia, SC; son, Allen Quincey (Talena) McConico of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Louis (Elaine) McConico of Manning, SC and Daniel (Irma) McConico of Rimini, SC; two sisters, Juanita (Rodney) James of Columbia, SC and Willie Mae McConico of Paxville, SC; two aunts, Williene Johnson and Jessie Mae Green (Solomon); uncle, Albertus (Betty) Bosier, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter, Stacey McConico 2975 Trent Street Dalzell, SC.
