Timothy "Timmy"  Diggs
On February 2nd, 1968, the world was blessed and the Clea and Diggs families rejoiced over the birth of Timothy Ray Diggs who was born to the late Vernon Diggs, Sr. and Helen Clea Digs.

Timothy, better known as “Big Diggs” or “Timmy” to his family and friends, was educated in the public schools of Sumter County.

Timothy worked numerous jobs throughout South and North Carolina before relocating to Philadelphia, PA. Timmy’s hobbies consisted of cooking and playing cards with the kids. He loved the children. Spending time with family and making them laugh was the high light of his life. Timmy was the jokester of the family and was notorious for his laugh and giving out nicknames to al his love ones.

Timmy met and married the love of his life, Doreen Mack, who would be his best friend for life.

Timmy was preceded in death by a son; Timothy Ray Diggs, Jr., his father; Vernon Diggs, Sr., maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

On Wednesday, November 29, 2017, the heavens smiled as a cloud of sadness covered our family as Timothy departed life as we know it.
Timmy leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing; his beloved wife, Doreen Diggs of Philadelphia, PA, his loving mother; Helen Clea Diggs of Sumter, SC, two adorable daughters; Darneshia Mack and Tiffany Anderson both of Philadelphia, PA, two sweet granddaughters; Sianni Raylynn Robin and Gabriele Mack both of Philadelphia, PA, five bothers; Vernon Diggs, Jr., Johnny Diggs, Eddie (Kyra Kelly) Diggs all of Sumter, SC, James (Gloria) Diggs of Greenville, SC, and Jimmy (Dequira) Diggs of Columbia, SC, three sisters; Alice (Anthony Green) Mack, Althia Diggs and Kendra Copeland all of Sumter, SC, five aunts, one special aunt that was a second mother; Minister Alice Clea Pringle, one uncle; David (Alpha) Clea, two grandaunts; Queen Dennis and Minnie Mayrant both of Rembert, SC, a special friend that was like a brother; Roosevelt Mack and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
