Obituary for Esau Demetrius Green

Esau Demetrius Green
Esau Demetrius Green, 32, was born on June 23, 1982 in Sumter, South Carolina to his proud parents, Mrs. Barbara West and Esaw Green. He departed this life on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.

At an early age Esau was educated in the public schools of Sumter County: Wilder and Kingsbury Elementary, Bates Middle School, and Sumter High School. Esau graced so many throughout the community, as well as throughout the schools, with his love to entertain. He was a member of the Sumter High School Show Choir, Sumter High School track and field, and the Sigma Beta Steppers. Upon graduating from Sumter High School and as a member of the Class of 2000, Esau went on to further his education at St. Augustine University and Voorhees College. Esau's love for music was like no other. He performed whenever the opportunity was presented with grace and class. He shared his talents with others who had a love for music, as well as those who had a desire to learn music through personal lessons. He shared his gift through the One Purpose Choir and Soul Food Jazz Band.

Esau was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Ruby H. Parr, Burley and Catherine Hudson, and Esaw Green, Sr, and a brother-in-law, Jaywann Parker.

The angelic soul of this beloved person will shine forever through his parents, Mrs. Barbara (John) West, and Mr. Esaw (Betty Jean) Green and Jeremiah McLeod, all of Sumter, SC; brother, Marcus Green of Sumter, SC; two sisters, Marva Green and Brandy Parker of Sumter, SC; two step-sisters, Crystal McLeod of Santa Maria, CA and Keisha Wells Palmer of Orlando, FL; two step-brothers, Terrence and Kerell Wells, both of Orlando, FL; the little angels that he loved the most: two nephews, Erique Green of Boston, MA and Ke-Andre' Green of Sumter, SC; four nieces, Kamarii Walters, Taniyah Green, Shamiya Alston, and Kaidynn Parker, all of Sumter, SC, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and very special friends.
